Zabawa Entertainment, a distinguished Bollywood film and music production company with roots in India and Dubai, is crafting WCL. It plans to bring together retired and non-contracted players from England, India, Pakistan, Australia, West Indies, and South Africa.
Harshit Tomar, Director of Zabawa Entertainment, shared his excitement, emphasizing the league’s status as a top-tier platform for past champions. He believes that the announcement strengthens WCL’s global significance and opens new avenues for the league’s development.
“The latest announcement enhances WCL’s position as a premier platform for former cricket champions, opening up new avenues for the league’s growth and worldwide impact,” he said.
The tournament, scheduled to commence on the 3rd of July, has already garnered immense anticipation.

Stuart Cain, Chief Executive at Edgbaston subtly alluded to the excitement of reliving cricketing moments. The chosen venue for the cricket extravaganza is Edgbaston.
“We’re looking forward to having some of the legendary players back at Edgbaston. It’s going to be a delightful experience seeing those iconic figures on the field again,” he said.
