Yashasvi Jaiswal, Shivam Dube’s fifties lead India to T20I series win over Afghanistan

Yashasvi Jaiswal made full use of the dropped catch by Fazalhaq Farooqi, slamming a sensational fifty in th second T20I against Afghanistan in Indore. He was assisted by Shivam Dube, who scored his second consecutive half-century as India won the game by 6 wickets in 15.4 overs.

Jaiswal accumulated 68 runs off 34 balls, with the help of 6 sixes and 5 fours. Dube was unbeaten on 63 runs off 32 balls, laced with 5 fours and 4 sixes. Rohit Sharma (0) and Virat Kohli (29) and Jitesh Sharma (0) were the other batters to be dismissed.

Earlier, the visiting team amassed 172. Gulbadin Naib (57 runs off 35 balls), Mujeeb Ur Rahman (21 runs off 9.balls), and Karim Janat (20 runs off 10 balls) were impressive with the bat.

Arshdeep Singh was the most successful Indian bowler with three wickets. Ravi Bishnoi and Axar Patel added two scalps each, respectively.
