Indian leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal recently lightened the atmosphere at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru with a lighthearted exchange with a watchman. Chahal, known for his wit, shared the amusing incident on his Instagram account on Friday, January 26.
In a brief video posted by Chahal, the cricketer is seen engaging in a playful banter with a staff member at the NCA. The focus of the banter was the watchman’s new haircut, with Chahal cracking a joke that left both of them in stitches. Alongside the video, Chahal humorously captioned the post, “He’s back with a new haircut.”

Despite his jovial off-field demeanor, Chahal has faced challenges in the competitive world of Indian cricket. The seasoned leg-spinner has seen a reduction in his appearances in India’s white-ball team, primarily due to the emergence of left-arm spinner Kuldeep Yadav.
Chahal’s last ODI outing was against New Zealand in January 2023. Unfortunately, the crafty spinner missed out on representing the Men in Blue in the 50-over World Cup last year. Additionally, he has also been absent from playing XI in T20Is since the series against West Indies in August 2023.
