India were in trouble when Virat Kohli (0) and Rohit Sharma (3) were dismissed early while chasing 111. However, a brilliant fifty by Suryakumar Yadav and his partnership with Shivam Dube led India to a 7-wicket win over the United States of America. With three wins from as many games, the Men in Blue are through to the Super 8 stage.
Earlier, the co-hosts posted 110/7 in 20 overs. Nitish Kumar (27) and Steven Taylor (24) were the top performers with the bat. Arshdeep Singh took 4 wickets for the Rohit Sharma-led team.
