Shaheen Shah Afridi has been bowling well in white-ball cricket. He doesn’t feature in the Test side but continues to remain an important part of the shorter formats. In the first T20I between Pakistan and South Africa, he scripted a major record.
He took three wickets and conceded just 22 runs from four overs. The left-arm fast bowler dismissed Rassie van der Dussen, David Miller and Nqabayomzi Peter.

Meanwhile, Afridi was not considered for the South Africa Test series. Earlier, he played just one red-ball game against England and was dropped from the remaining two, which was won by the Shan Masood-led team.
South Africa posted 183/9 in 20 overs, with David Miller scoring 82 runs off 40 balls. He hit 8 sixes and 4 boundaries, and his runs came at a strike rate of over 200. The finishing touches were given by George Linde, who managed 48 runs off 24 balls, including four sixes and three boundaries.
Abrar Ahmed also took three wickets for the Men in Green.
