SA vs IND, 2nd ODI: South Africa beat India by 8 wickets to level series 1-1

South Africa defeated India by 8 wickets in the second ODI to level the three-match series 1-1. Chasing 212, the Proteas completed the chase easily.

Earlier, India were bowled out for 211 runs in 46.2 overs after being invited to bat first by Aiden Markram. Although Sai Sudharsan hit the second consecutive fifty, the batters failed to get going. Sai accumulated 62 runs off 83 balls, laced with 7 fours and 1 six.

Captain KL Rahul struck a well compiled 56 runs off 64 balls, with the help of 7 fours.

Nandre Burger (3 wickets), Keshav Maharaj (2 wickets) and Beuran Hendricks (2 wickets) bowled according to a well thought-out plan.

Tony de Zorzi scored a maiden hundred, while Reeza Hendricks amassed a fifty to take the Proteas to a comprehensive win over the Men in Blue.
