Mumbai Indians’ best player returns to training ahead of IPL 2024

Mumbai Indians players are getting ready for the Indian Premier League 2024. Suryakumar Yadav, who has been out of cricket for months due to surgery, has started training for the new league season. It is good news as he is their best batter, considering his track record and what he brings to the table.

Surya last played in a T20I series against South Africa and twisted his ankle while leading the side without Rohit Sharma and Hardik Pandya.

He struck a hundred in the third and final T20I against South Africa but was injured while fielding. He couldn’t recover and underwent surgery in Germany. The 33-year-old was then told to visit the NCA for the rehabilitation. He has started skill training in the nets and will soon be back with the bat for IPL 2024.

He shared a story on his Instagram handle. Watch the video here.

Mumbai Indians will be led by Hardik Pandya and the franchise will be taken on Gujarat Titans in Match 24.
