Mumbai Indians have been eliminated from the playoff race in the Indian Premier League 2024. Royal Challengers Bengaluru have followed the same path and are almost out of the race despite winning three consecutive games. They have played 11 games, losing 7 while securing a victory in 4. Even if they thump the rivals in the remaining three contests, they would reach 14 points and that doesn’t guarantee a spot in the playoffs.

He opted out of the few games in the 17th season to deal with his mental health issues after horrific start to the Indian Premier League. However, his return to the playing XI hasn’t been good.
In the latest game against Gujarat Titans, the Big Show had the time to settle down as Virat Kohli and Faf du Plessis added 92 runs for the opening wicket in 5.5 overs. However, he tried to be over aggresive and was dismissed after scoring just 4 runs off 3 balls.
Kohli, who was standing at the non-striker’s end, was left frustrated. Meanwhile, former India player Parthiv Patel has launched a scathing attack on the Aussie all-rounder, calling him the most overrated player in the history of the Indian Premier League.
