India and Pakistan, the two arch-rivals are set to play against each other in the Asia Cup 2025 on September 14. According to India Today, the tournament, which will be held in the T20 format, is scheduled to run from 9 to 28 September.

A of 19 contests will be played in the upcoming edition of the Asia Cup, featuring nations. India and Pakistan are in the same group, while Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan are part of the other group.
The matches will be hosted by Abu Dhabi and Dubai in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Although the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is the host nation, the tournament will be contested at neutral venues due to problematic relations between India and Pakistan.

Format of Asia Cup 2025
Two teams from each group will make it to the Super Four stage. In the Super Four stage, each team will face the other three rivals once. The top two teams from the Super Four stage will compete in the final. India and Pakistan can meet three times in the tournament. While their group stage match is on September 14, they can also meet on September 22 if they qualify for the next round.
