Gill’s knock of 103 runs from 238 balls was vital in helping India to secure a draw in the fourth Test against England, which took place in Manchester. By the end of Day 5, India reached 425/4 in their second innings, having previously conceded a lead of 311 runs in the first innings.

In a video posted on his YouTube channel, ‘Aakash Chopra’, the former opener celebrated Gill’s success in the series, highlighting his consistent form in scoring centuries.

“I’ll start with Shubman because every time he has gone past 20, he’s gone on to score a century. That’s the reality of this series. The way he’s been batting, records are falling. He’s been exceptional. We had talked about how this match could end in a draw if Gill and Rahul batted for a long period, and that’s exactly what happened,” Chopra said.

“He scored a century and then played a loose shot after reaching the milestone. It was an away-going delivery, and he edged it to get out. However, this series will be remembered for Shubman Gill – his arrival, his dominance, and his unwavering determination,” he added.
