Kolkata Knight Riders defeated Delhi Capitals by 106 runs to register their third consecutive win in the Indian Premier League 2024. The two-time champions have also climbed to the top of the points table in the 17th season. Chasing 273 runs in 20 overs, Delhi couldn’t perform under pressure and was dismissed for 166 in 17.2 overs.
Captain Rishabh Pant and Tristan Stubbs scored fifties, but that was not enough to win the game. For KKR, Vaibhav Arora and Varun Chakravarthy took three wickets each, respectively.
Earlier, sensational hitting by Sunil Narine, Angkrish Raghuvanshi, and Andre Russell helped KKR to post the second highest team total in IPL history.
