The funds donated by Punjab Kings will be used to buy inflatable rescue boats to help families and provide medical emergencies, and deliver essential items along with clean drinking water.
Punjab Kings (PBKS) have come forward to support flood victims, donating INR 33.8 lakh. The state has been impacted by the worst floods in four decades. According to reports, 37 people have lost their lives.
All 23 districts in Punjab have been declared flood-affected. PBKS have partnered with Hemkunt Foundation and Round Table India to help the victims.

PBKS have also launched a fundraising campaign on Ketto to raise INR 2 crore. The money will be given to the Global Sikh charity, which is working towards rebuilding Punjab. The floods have been triggered by rising water levels in the Sutlej, Beas, and Ravi rivers. The rainfall in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu & Kashmir has also worsened the condition.
The Indian Army, NDRF, BSF, and local authorities are engaged in the evacuation process.
