Radico Khaitan posts record Q1 results with 37.5% volume growth

Radico Khaitan Ltd reported its best-ever quarterly performance for Q1 FY2026, with total IMFL volume reaching 9.72 million cases, marking a 37.5 per cent increase year-over-year. The spirits company posted net sales of ₹1,506 crore, up 32.5 per cent from the previous year.

The company’s EBITDA surged 55.6 per cent to ₹230.7 crore with a margin of 15.3 per cent, while total comprehensive net income jumped 74.5 per cent to ₹132.2 crore. Gross profit expanded 38.8 per cent to ₹647.7 crore, maintaining a 43.0 per cent margin.

Radico Khaitan’s premiumisation strategy showed strong results, with Prestige & Above brands recording 40.8 per cent volume growth to 3.84 million cases. These premium brands contributed 41.5 per cent to total IMFL volumes and generated net sales of ₹713.2 crore, representing 66.7 per cent of total IMFL sales value.

The company launched two new products during the quarter: Morpheus Super Premium Whisky targeting the fast-growing super-premium segment, and The Spirit of Kashmyr, a luxury vodka designed for global markets.

Chairman and Managing Director Lalit Khaitan attributed the performance to stable raw material costs and favourable product mix. Managing Director Abhishek Khaitan emphasised the company’s position to capitalize on India’s evolving lifestyle-driven alcohol beverage market, supported by rising consumer affluence and changing preferences.
