On the eve second Test between India Australia at Adelaide Oval, captain Rohit Sharma has confirmed that KL Rahul will open the innings with Yashasvi Jaiswal in the pink-ball match.
“KL Rahul will open the innings. His knock and the partnership with Yashasvi Jaiswal was instrumental in the team’s win in Perth. He deserves to bat as an opener. I will bat somewhere else. Personally, it was not easy but you have to take such decisions for the sake of the team,” Rohit Sharma said.
